Eiffel Tower Lights Up In Tribute To Nelson Mandela

The iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris lit up Friday night in the colors of the South African flag in memory of the late former president.

The Eiffel Tower will be lit in honor of Mandela from Dec. 14 to 16.

The light show features the name of the anti-apartheid icon on the tower along with the colors of the South African flag.

A ceremony will take place near the Eiffel Tower on Sunday, the day of his funeral.

Nelson Mandela died last week at age 95.
