A man on a mission to visit every country in the world was recently on a bike tour of Argentina when he captured the terrifying moment an armed thief attempted to rob him in broad daylight.
In a video posted to YouTube by the group Global Degree, Alexander Hennessy is seen riding along a bike path in Buenos Aires when a stranger on a motorcycle suddenly drives up beside him and pulls out a handgun.
"I miraculously happened to be recording with a gopro on my forehead and captured this amazing piece of footage!!" said the video's description.
After Hennessy briefly escapes the man who confronted him with a laugh, he's forced to stop pedaling, and attempts to ditch his bike and make a run for it. The armed thief can be heard yelling repeatedly: "Give me the backpack!"
Michael Graziano, who shared the video on Tuesday night, said the person riding the bike in the video was his travel partner Hennessy.

Graziano said on Facebook the footage was later handed over to police and the would-be robber was arrested the same day.
"But this won't stop us from visiting all 195 countries," he said.
