Colorado's Response To Stolen 420 Signs Is Awesome

The "MILE 420" highway marker sign near Stratton, Colo., has been stolen so many times that state officials came up with a clever idea to thwart the thieves.

People kept stealing the 420 mile marker in Colorado. This was CDOT's solution.

A spokesperson with the Colorado Department of Transportation told 9 News:

"So this is our way to test it out. So far it's working. It's a traffic safety thing. It's a helpful thing to have these sings on the road. But people kept ripping them off."
