Pilot Orders Pizza For Entire Flight While Severely Delayed Due To Storm

A Frontier Airlines pilot treated his passengers to pizza when storms forced the Denver-bound flight to be diverted to Wyoming.

Adam Ritchie, a Domino's Pizza manager in Cheyenne, Wyo., said he received a call from the Frontier Airlines pilot Monday at around 10 p.m.

"I need to feed my whole plane," the pilot said over the phone.

The “whole plane” included 160 people, so Ritchie and his employees made 36 pizzas, which they delivered to the flight attendants.

The flight originated in Washington, D.C., and was bound for Denver when a storm forced the flight to be diverted to Cheyenne and delayed for two hours.

All the food on board the plane was reportedly gone, so the pilot decided to order pizzas for everyone. Each row got its own pie.

The plane reportedly then departed at 10:30 p.m. for Denver.

Bad news: my Denver flight was sent to WY due to this storm. Good news: the pilot ordered pizza! Thanks @FlyFrontier #hungry
