A Large Section Of The Midwest Is Currently Colder Than The South Pole

At the South Pole, the temperature is minus 7 degrees, while in Minneapolis, Chicago, and much of the Midwest temperatures have dropped even lower.

Currently, at the South Pole, the temperature is minus 7 degrees.

But the "polar vortex" has plunged temperatures in Minneapolis to minus 15.

It's also 15 below in Chicago.

And throughout much of the Midwest temperatures are colder than they are at the South Pole.
