Rapper Rick Ross Arrested For Assault In Georgia

The rapper reportedly pistol whipped a contractor who was working on his Fayette County property.

Rapper Rick Ross was arrested for the second time this month, according to a Metro Atlanta Fugitive Task Force spokesperson.

Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was arrested early Wednesday morning at his house in Georgia on outstanding warrants for aggravated assault. Ross’ bodyguard – identified by the Metro Atlanta Fugitive Task Force as Nadrian James – was also arrested.

Ross is accused of pistol-whipping a contractor who was working on his Fayette County property while the two were in a fight. Both Ross and James were charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

Both men are being held at the Fayette County jail awaiting a bond hearing.

Earlier this month the rapper was arrested on a misdemeanor marijuana charge after he was pulled over on a highway for a window tint violation, according to WSB-TV.
