Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Says He's Coming Back To Work On June 30

And he wants to be sure he can get in to his office. "Please make the necessary arrangements for my office locks to be restored to their state prior to my departure."

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, in treatment for his substance abuse problems, told city officials that he will be returning to work on June 30 "in the later portion of the afternoon," according to a letter published by The Globe and Mail.

The Globe and Mail also reported that Ford's office locks had been changed during his leave.

Ford took a leave from his official duties on April 30 after months of speculation about the mayor's alleged drug and alcohol abuse and his political future. Ford admitted to smoking crack in November but said he would not step down. He is running for re-election in October.

The day Ford announced he was entering rehab, The Globe and Mail reported it had viewed a new video of Ford smoking what's described as crack cocaine, and the Toronto Sun obtained a new audio recording of Ford swearing in a bar.
