Sloan's parents are both snowboarders and decided that as soon as she could walk, they would try her out on a board, according to CNN.

They bought the toddler a Burton Riglet for Christmas, the couple told "Good Morning America." They started pulling her around on the board inside on the carpet and on snow mounds in their backyard.

Her parents bought the smallest-sized helmet available, but it still didn't fit the little toddler's head, they told "Good Morning America."

When they saw that Sloan was ready for the big slopes on Thursday, they took her out to the Park City Mountain Resort. They were excited to see how well she handled the board!

"When we were walking up there a lot of people stopped and told us how cute she was and said 'Is she really going to be snowboarding?'" her dad told "Good Morning America." "When she went down the slopes people were really impressed with how good she was."

Since then Sloan has been working on her skills in the family's backyard.
