This Artist Was Born Without Hands And Draws The Most Stunning Realistic Portraits

"Fight for your dreams and live your own, great life. Do things that the others are afraid to do. Don't waste your time, because it's priceless."

Mariusz Kędzierski, a 23-year-old artist based in Świdnica, Poland, doesn't know why he was born without hands.

"There is no logical explanation," he told BuzzFeed News. "Furthermore, there is no similar case in my family. In the past I have asked myself and God, 'why me?' many times. But when I accepted myself, I realized that if I would not be born without arms, I might not do what I do."

After his last surgery on his arms when he was 16, Kędzierski started to draw.

He is a self-taught artist, but has studied at The E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw.

"I think that my talent is in spite of my arms," he said. "Everything comes to me naturally, so I can't say it is hard or easy to do without arms. I don't know how it is to have arms because I have never had them."

He draws holding a typical pencil with the ends of his arms pressed against it.

Kędzierski draws portraits "because I can express myself by feelings included in other people's eyes."

"I love those undisturbed feelings which are written in their look," he said.

Each drawing takes at least 20 hours to complete. Although, his most laborious piece took him nearly 100 hours.
