Burger King Posts A "Tittygram" To Its Official Russian Social Media Page

Tittygram is a site where anyone can pay $10 to have a message written on a Russian model's chest. Burger King used it in a post on its official Russian social media page.

Burger King's official account on VK.com (Russia's version of Facebook), has been using a new method of promotion: Tittygram.

Tittygram is a new site based in Russia where you can pay $9.95 to have a model write your custom message (35 characters or fewer) on her chest, which is bare but for a bra or bikini (no face, no exposed nipples). Within an hour of your order, you get your custom Tittygram photo in your inbox.

On April 7, Burger King's VK account posted a custom message that reads "I love Burger King" on a woman's chest. The message the account added above the photo translates to:

Do you want this to be your name? Every week the most active community member will receive this kind of named message. It's not just your Whoppers that are cooked on a real fire, everything with us is on fire!

Burger King media relations told BuzzFeed News, "Due to the time difference, we do not have any information at this time."

Tittygram launched in March as an creative offshoot of a much more practical ecommerce platform company called X-Cart. The CEO of Tittygram, Vladimir Gritsenko, told BuzzFeed News in an email, "we are huge believers in Uberization of everything. When we were fooling around trying to invent the most gross 'Uber for…' thing we could come up with. The moment we thought of 'Uber for Boobs' – we realized: we're totally doing this."

As you might imagine, it has not been received entirely favorably.

According to Gritsenko, Tittygram gives 2% of its profits toward breast cancer research. Anyone over 21 can apply to be a model by sending in a photo of their chest. Models are paid an undisclosed flat rate per message.

Sticking to its inspiration from Uber, Tittygram does do surge pricing for when requests are coming in more heavily.
