Hillary Clinton's been running for president for more than a month, but Saturday on Roosevelt Island in New York City, she'll deliver her first big campaign speech at her first big rally.Eight years ago, when Clinton first ran for president, her campaign emphasized large events — something that distanced the then-senator from voters in states like Iowa, and something this campaign has mostly avoided. On Saturday, she's expected to broadly outline the contours of her policy platform, her family's history (including the story of her late mother, whose early life was characterized by cruelty), and contrast her particular vision with that of the Republican Party. And speaking on a strip of land renamed to honor the former president, she'll likely invoke Franklin and, in particular, Eleanor Roosevelt, who Clinton has long publicly admired.
