What It Felt Like To Land A Robot On Mars

The happiest place on earth, at least for a few minutes last night, was the control room at the Jet Propulsion Lab.

Last night the Mars Science Laboratory successfully landed on Mars after a long, difficult journey that started in November of last year. Needless to say, the people who worked on the project were pretty stoked.
