Americans Are Worth Twice As Much As Europeans On Facebook

And seven times as much as users from the "rest of the world."

Facebook reported its quarterly earnings today. No big surprises — a little user growth, slightly slack revenue. Pretty much what people expected.

In a slide deck for investors, though, there was a fascinating graph:

Facebook has reported RPU before, and the numbers make sense: the US is its largest and most mature market, it's where Facebook is based, and it's where Facebook tries most of its new ad strategies first.

But given that Facebook's users are the product it sells to advertisers, it's fun to think about what you're worth to it.

You, American Active User, are worth $3.50 a quarter to Facebook.

You, Asian Active User, are worth $0.64.

You, European Active User, are worth $1.60.

You, Facebook User From Anywhere Else, are worth $0.50 cents.

So! Now you know where you stand.
