The Alabama Department of Homeland Security has released a training video, called "RUN HIDE FIGHT," that contains a simulated workplace shooting and guidance for potential victims. It was originally produced by the Houston, TX, police department and adapted for wide release at the request of Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. According to the AP, the video will be distributed to state law enforcement agencies but is also intended to "help train education officials and private employers."
The original video was produced before the shooting in Newtown, CT. The recut was slated for release in January, but pulled in response to Sandy Hook.
