The Toronto Sun and Toronto Star published new video Thursday of Mayor Rob Ford — who admitted earlier this week to smoking crack cocaine "probably in one of my drunken stupors" — ranting about wanting to fight someone to the death.
Ford said he was "extremely, extremely inebriated" and apologized for the video.
"I just wanted to come out and tell you that I saw a video. It's extremely embarrassing. The whole world's going to see it. You know what? I don't have a problem with it. But it is extremely embarrassing, but I don't know what to say but again I am apologizing. Again, when you're in that state ... I hope none of you have ever or will ever be in that state."
The Star said it bought the video for $5,000.
