Video released Friday shows former rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight using his pickup truck to run over a man in Compton.
The video shows Knight's truck at the edge of a parking lot at a Compton fast-food restaurant. About 15 seconds into the video, the truck abruptly backs up and throws a man to the ground.
That man, Cle "Bone" Sloan, survived the incident, but Terry Carter — whom Knight also allegedly hit — died.
The video of the altercation was reviewed by a judge, who ordered Knight to stand trial on charges of murder, attempted murder, and hit and run. The judge ordered the video released in response to a request from the Associated Press.
Video of the incident previously surfaced on TMZ, but Friday is the first time it was officially released.
Knight has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His arraignment is scheduled for April 30.
