Two Michigan men were arrested for stealing a disabled man's cellphone, attacking him and then posting a video of the beatdown on Facebook, according to CBS News.

The 23-year-old victim, who has cerebral palsy, was in the stairwell of the Phoenix Park Apartments in Pontiac, a suburb of Detroit, when the suspects attacked him on Sunday, according to CBS.

Nikey Dashone Walker and Shadeed Dontae Bey, both 20, allegedly stole the man's phone and then filmed themselves assaulting the victim as he lay on the ground. In addition to beating the man, the two can be heard on the video using racial slurs.

It was later discovered that the video was uploaded not only to the victim's Facebook page but also to both suspect's Facebook pages, CBS reported.

"Preying on those in our community who suffer from disabilities will not be tolerated and furthermore, to have the audacity to post their actions on the victim's page is beyond belief," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard told CBS.

"I am proud of the Deputies at the Pontiac Substation and the excellent investigative work that was completed in order to bring these two cowards to justice," he added.

Walker and Bey were arrested on Monday and then arraigned Tuesday on charges of home invasion, unarmed robbery, and aggravated assault. A judge set the bond at $25,000 and both are due back in court on December 8.

A call to the Oakland County Sheriff's office was not immediately returned.
