Iowa GOP Senate Candidate Calls The UCSB Shooting An "Unfortunate Accident"
Republican candidate for Senate, Joni Ernst, referred to the shooting spree near the University of California, Santa Barbara, as an "unfortunate accident" during a primary debate on Thursday.
Ernst, who is known for a campaign ad in which she fires a gun to "unload" on the Affordable Care Act, said she would not change the ad in light of recent events.
