BearFeed won the day (and the iPad) through a combination of excellent, shareable Bear-themed content (everybody likes bears!) and a strategic use of StumbleUpon to drive traffic to her posts.
But she had some stiff competition! The top feeds were all packed with excellent, compelling posts that were shared widely on social networks due to the creative use of lists, quizzes, and original ideas that drew in readers, as well as a strong theme that kept people coming back.
Now that the contest is over, we hope that the best feeds will keep up the amazing work - we don't have any more iPads to give away, but we'd love to start featuring some of these great posts on our front page, and sharing them with the rest of the Internet.
