This Teddy Bear Commercial Is Making Everyone Uncomfortable

As millions of Americans gathered to watch Monday's Iowa Caucuses and contemplate democracy, many were left with one question: What the hell is with this teddy bear commercial?

The commercial, which originally aired in 2012, pops back on TV every year around this time, drawing dramatic reactions from all who view it.

Oh good. The incredibly bizarre and unsettling Vermont Teddy Bear ads are back. Yay Valentine's Day:

Am I the only one slightly creeped out by the Vermont Teddy Bear commercial. It looks like they are seducing those stuffed bears.


Some were unsettled by the strange sexual nature of a commercial about toys intended for children.

Others were put off by the commercial's somewhat stereotypical idea of how women react to gifts.

Yet some patriots felt like it was a welcome and even comforting break to the heated political atmosphere.

Still, more understood that even teddy bears aren't safe from the election season.

But no matter how you're voting — Democrat, Republican, Teddy Bear — we can all agree on one thing: That bear is big AF.
