Despite television images purporting to show his dead body, al-Douri's supporters denied he had been killed, so the remains will undergo DNA testing, the BBC reported.

This Former Iraqi General Is Believed Dead But He Looks Like Walter White, Right?

Iraqi officials on Friday said they believed the former right hand man to Saddam Hussein, Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, had been killed while fighting for ISIS north of Baghdad.

Al-Douri had long been a fugitive, having been listed as the "King of Clubs" on the deck of cards issued by the U.S. military to help capture the most wanted officials of Saddam Hussein's regime

The 72-year-old led the Naqshbandi Order insurgent group, which was a key supporter of ISIS, according to the BBC.

So when major media outlets broke the news that the longtime fugitive was believed dead, commenters were quick to share their feelings of relief, amazement, and, well...

Everyone basically thought he looked like Bryan Cranston's Walter White character in Breaking Bad.

EVERYONE.

I mean...

It's pretty uncanny.
