Khloé Kardashian Cancels Book Tour To Stay By Lamar Odom's Side

Khloé has no plans to do any promotional press for the release of her upcoming book Strong Looks Better Naked as her husband continues to recover from a suspected drug overdose.

Khloé Kardashian has canceled a publicity tour for her soon-to-be released book Strong Looks Better Naked to stay by Lamar Odom's side.

The 256-page book — in which Khloé shares her secrets for finding "strength of body, mind, and heart" during struggles with her weight, relationships, and self-image — will be released Nov. 3. And while authors typically do advance press prior to their book hitting shelves, a source close to the situation told BuzzFeed News Friday that Khloé has instead chosen to remain at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where Odom is recovering from a suspected drug overdose.

According to family sources, Odom has been making progress since being found unconscious Oct. 13 at a Nevada brothel where he allegedly used cocaine and sexual performance enhancers.

Earlier this week, Odom also signed court papers to dismiss his pending divorce, which Khloé filed for in 2013.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News on Thursday, Odom's aunt, JaNean Mercer, said the NBA star had been able to improve his speech and cognitive responsiveness and was following "an aggressive therapy regiment to aid in his progress."

It wasn't immediately known if Khloé's devotion will affect her other projects.

In addition to her role on the reality hit Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé has her own talk show — Kocktails With Khloé — on the FYI network. The show is tentatively scheduled to debut on Dec. 9.
