A 9-year-old girl was injured after she was struck by a bullet while selling Girl Scout cookies in her Indianapolis neighborhood, WXIN-TV reported.
Sinai Miller was walking with her sisters near the family's apartment Tuesday afternoon when shots were fired. The girl was struck in her calf, and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. She returned home Tuesday night.
Witnesses told WXIN-TV that shots came from a blue Ford Expedition driving through the neighborhood. Police told the Indianapolis Star that they don't believe the gunman was aiming for the girl, but it's unclear why the gunman opened fire.
