Is This The Creepiest Facebook Notification Ever?

Twitter user @dessicant was just minding his own business yesterday when he got this push notification:

Sure, it's harmless and we get what they're trying to do. Import contacts from other networks. More data for Facebook. More "friends" for you. Everybody wins.

But even still. The language is a bit jarring, especially for something as invasive-feeling as a push notification. And Facebook doesn't really need to help further the Big Brother narrative. Facebook may know all, but perhaps they should be a bit more subtle with the reminders.
