Rand Paul has been detained in Kentucky for declining a pat down by TSA workers.
Ron Paul campaign manager Jesse Benton tells BuzzFeed:
Yes - there was an "anomaly" on his body scan, so he requested to be scanned a second time. TSA demanded a full body pat down and Rand refused.
Hence, he is being detained.
Paul is a non-conformist by character who has broken with, among other things, the body that certifies ophtamologists, so this isn't a total shock.
