Santorum Going On TV In North Dakota

Rick Santorum has thrived in low-turnout caucuses. A shift to the Paul strategy.

Rick Santorum has made a small television buy in North Dakota, a media-buying source said, a step toward a strategy of racking up delegates in the caucus states.

Santorum is spending $7,678 on a statewide cable buy, the source said.

Santorum has thrived on his supporters' enthusiasm in states like Iowa and Minnesota despite having only the barest shreds of an organization, and despite Ron Paul's campaign's determined organizational efforts. The token media buy may be a sign that he's attending more closely to the state.
