Is Romney's Online Fundraising Stuck?

The dial isn't moving.

Mitt Romney has shown himself the master of raising five- and six-figure checks for his SuperPAC, but has never generated the sort of grassroots enthusiasm that gets the small online contributions flowing.

Today he launched a "One Term Fund," aimed at ending Barack Obama's presidency this year, and with a goal of $1 million.

But the online tally -- and it's always an open questions what's actually being measured by these things -- stopped somewhere south of $250,000 around noon, and hasn't risen since.

UPDATE: Not stuck! It jumped by more than $250,000 in the five minutes after this item appeared online.
