Free Voicemail for the Homeless

Google announces a partnership that will provide free voicemail to all homeless people in San Francisco.

Project Homeless Connect will provide phone numbers and voicemail to homeless individuals, empowering them to apply for jobs, seek medical care and communicate with family. Google hopes to extend the service to communities across the country.
