Evernote

A connected array of services - a web site, desktop client, phone interface - that let's you collect bookmarks online and also in the real world.

Evernote's stated goal is to be a backup for your brain. Add notes, bookmarks, web clips and images to it's index - it can even search the text in photos you send in. Now if only the web could supply us with a backup liver, we'd be set.

Editorial note: Whoa! You've found a super-old post here on BuzzFeed, from an earlier era of the site. It doesn't really represent where we are anymore, and may in fact be totally broken, but we're leaving it up as a part of our early history.
