Tesla released a video of the newest charger prototype on Thursday morning. In the process, it confirmed one of Elon Musk's wilder claims:

Yes, Tesla has, in fact, built a charger that looks like a solid metal snake. From the video released by Tesla, it does appear to be able to find the charging port on a Model S completely automatically — something like the magnetized charging port on a MacBook for the space snakes age.
