So, Cate Blanchett’s Latest Role Is The Endangered Green Punk-Haired Turtle That Breathes Through Its Ass

    Do you remember this little guy?

    Well, now there is a campaign to try to protect "ugly" creatures like this guy.

    The Wilderness Society this week released a musical video encouraging support for all endangered species. That's not out of character for the nature-focused Australian organisation. But this time around, they had the help of Hollywood stars Cate Blanchett and Rosario Dawson.

    The video features animals that don't normally get the attention of bigger environmental causes because they're not "cuddly" enough.

    Blanchett lent her voice to the Mary River turtle, which became popular because of its green punk "hair".

    In the video Rosario Dawson plays a phytoplankton-sipping Australian Ethmia clytodoxa moth.

    The song includes this line:
