Santorum In 2008: Republicans "To Our Credit" No Longer Just About Small Government

Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum runs on a platform of smaller government and less spending. But he's also seen by some as a "big government conservative," and in a 2008 interview at the Republican National Convention, Santorum said: "Republicans, to our credit, have morphed away form the Goldwater idea that government just needs to be small."
