In 2004 Speech, Romney Thanked Senator For Large Federal Earmark

During the Republican primary campaign, presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney's favorite criticism of his former rival Rick Santorum was his time as a prolific earmarker. But in a 2004 speech Romney thanks former Senator Bob Bennett of for providing "several hundred million dollars in help," referring to federal funding to bailout the 2002 Olympics.
