One in 10 Americans say they [don’t have enough food to eat](https://www.census.gov/data/tables/2020/demo/hhp/hhp13.html) — a toll that disproportionately affects people of color, queer people, military veterans, older adults, people living in rural areas, and disabled and chronically ill people.
