He's just added a £20,000 innovation. The Westbourne is, apparently, Britain's first iPub. What happens is this: There are a bunch of iPads fixed to the tables. Drinkers buy a special card which they place on the iPad sensor, and then...and THEN...
That's right. There are pumps on three of the tables. Which means no more queues, no more trying to squeeze past people while desperately trying to hold four pints at once – although, as some people have pointed out, it also seems kind of wrong.
