Al Roker Has Started A Bitter Feud With New York Mayor Bill De Blasio

"Long range DiBlasio forecast: 1 term"

Al Roker has been complaining about New York Mayor Bill de Blasio not closing city public schools since the first big winter storms of the season.

From @NYCSchools not closed to a lack of early prep, @NYCMayorsOffice got caught off guard. And this storm came in as predicted!!!

But at that time he was quick to forgive the new mayor.

Admitting mistakes during #Janus, @NYCMayorsOffice DiBlasio shows strength. Thank you Mr. Mayor

Though he did retweet this little jab.

@alroker maybe the Mayor and the Governor have @DIRECTV so they didn't get your forecast about the #weather lets Blame @directv LOL!

On Thursday, seeing that there were no school closures announced, Roker became incensed and took to Twitter for an extended rant about school closure and safety.

Why are schools all around NYC closed? It's going to take some kid or kids getting hurt before this goofball policy gets changed

So now my daughter's NYC public school is being let out early. @NYCMayorsOffice @NYCSchools Is it worth putting kids' safety at risk?

And how about all the parents and caregivers who have to scramble to get their kids home? Is there no one there with any common sense?

I knew this am @NYCMayorsOffice @NYCSchools would close schools. Talk about a bad prediction. Long range DiBlasio forecast: 1 term

@NYCMayorsOffice @NYCSchools Please, so we understand, make known weather-related school closing policy. Of course, assuming you have one.

@BillseBlasio Gov. Cuomo declaring state of emergency for the Mid-Hudson, New York City, and L.I. as a Nor'Easter storm continues affect NY

How dare @NYCMayorsOffice @NYCSchools throw NWS under the school bus. Forecast was on time and on the money

During a news conference on snow preparations, Mayor de Blasio finally responded to Roker's raging.

.@BilldeBlasio to @alroker: "It's a different thing to run the city than to give the weather on TV."

But Roker seems far from forgiving.

Mr. Mayor, I could never run NYC, but I know when it's time to keep kids home from school

Roker is currently in Sochi covering the olympics with the rest of NBC's "Today" show team.
