A Taco Bell employee in Kansas has reportedly been fired after writing "PIG" on tacos meant for a police officer and his fiancé.
The unidentified officer for the Newton Police Department visited the local restaurant with his fiancé on Saturday night.
The couple told KAKE they found the message scribbled on some of the wrappers for their food when they opened the bag.
They said they called the location and spoke to the manager, who told them they could bring their food back and get a refund.

The cop's fiancé later posted a picture of the message on Facebook, where it was picked up by local media.
The story quickly went viral, with many people expressing disgust with the worker's actions.
Amid the outrage, a Taco Bell spokesperson told KAKE on Monday that the employee had been fired for writing the remark.
"We do not share the same belief or view as the employee whatsoever," Jeff Graves told the station. "Our company, Taco Bell, has always been pro–law enforcement, military. We've always supported the police in our community. Many of our restaurants give police discounts when they come in and eat."

Taco Bell did not immediately return a request for comment from BuzzFeed News.
The Newton Police Department also responded to the incident on Facebook, saying it does not want the community to blame Taco Bell for the actions of one worker.
The department added that it had met with representatives for Taco Bell and they are working together to host a community event in the future.
"We look forward to a long partnership with this local business, and sincerely hope this negative experience can be a catalyst for positive change," it said.
