Twitter User Live-Tweeted The Start Of U.S. Airstrikes In Syria

Abdulkader Hariri, claiming to be in Raqqa, Syria, appears to have shared the news of the airstrikes by the U.S. and partner forces on ISIS targets in Syria nearly 30 minutes before being confirmed by the Pentagon.

On Monday night, the United States and partner nation forces launched airstrikes in Syria. The first person to report those strikes appears to be this Twitter user:

After several of minutes, he tweeted again, saying, "sounds of warplanes can be heard clearly."

A spokesman for the Pentagon officially confirmed the airstrikes on ISIS roughly 30 minutes later:

Hariri shared two more tweets, one saying, "The sky is full drones over Raqqa now," before going dark:
