President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin may have scolded one another during their respective speeches before the U.N. General Assembly on Monday, but they did not forget their manners when it comes to toasting etiquette.
The two leaders were able to put their differences aside long enough to clink glasses following a luncheon toast by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
According to a pool report from the event, Ban Ki-moon said "there is no such thing as a free lunch," and urged the leaders to return to their countries and meet the new sustainable development goals the international body adopted on Friday.

In his own toast, according to the pool report, Obama praised Ban for his leadership of the United Nations.
