On Tuesday, the Broncos allowed veteran cornerback Champ Bailey to sign a one-day contract so he could retire as a member of the Broncos, where he spent the bulk of his storied career.
In ten seasons with the Broncos, he racked up 34 interceptions, and ended his career with 52 total interceptions, landing him at #26 on the all-time list, just behind Deion Sanders.
Of course, Broncos (and Patriots) fans will most notably remember Bailey's 100-yard endzone interception in the 2006 playoffs:
Bailey most recently played with the New Orleans Saints, but decided his career should end in Denver. The Broncos will held a press conference for Bailey's retirement this afternoon.

During his presser, Bailey first thanked Washington for drafting him and for preparing him for the Broncos.
John Elway introduced the probably Hall of Famer, and offered some perspective for the 36-year-old retiree:
"In the last few years of your NFL career, everyone tells you you're an old man. But when you retire at 36, you're now a young man again."
