A man who dresses up in a rubber "gimp" fetish suit and walks around towns in Essex to raise money is attempting to challenge stereotypes, he told the BBC.
The Gimp suit is made of PVC and rubber, and is commonly associated with sexual activities including bondage, domination, discipline, submission, sadism and masochism.
"When I first starting going out in my suit, someone suggested I could make a charity thing out of it."
He donates a pound to charity every time someone takes a photo with him and posts it to his Facebook page.
His page - The Gimp Man Of Essex - has over 2,000 likes, and is flooded with messages of support.

However, reaction has been split, with many people being friendly, but others making the assumption he was a "paedophile or pervert".
He means to "start a debate", adding: "I don't go round to scare the life out of people."
So far he has raised £375 for Colchester Mind, a mental health charity.
Gimp Man said: "People call me a legend, but I only donate a few hundred quid and walk round looking a fool."
